Queens Boulevard supplies its own version: stop-and-go traffic, buses at every block, grit that sits in the roadway between sweepings. Tempered panes go all at once, usually from a break-in or a swinging door in a tight lot, and they drop a few thousand blunt cubes into the seat tracks and the door cavity.
From the western end of the borough the run is short.
