Side and rear tempered glass runs $200 to $450 for most vehicles, cleanup included, and we can often finish the day you call if the pane is stocked. We work in Canarsie driveways seven days a week, 8:30 to 5:30, or at the shop on Fort Hamilton Parkway if you would rather drive in.

The first job is not glass, it is cleanup. A broken side pane empties into the door shell, the seat rails, the seat belt reel pocket and the carpet, and shards keep working their way out for months if the vacuum work is rushed. So we strip the door card, pull the debris out of the bottom of the shell where the drain holes are, and go through the interior before anything new goes in. A rear pane is worse, since the parcel shelf catches everything.
Then the fitting. Framed door glass has to sit square in the channel so the regulator lifts smoothly and the top edge meets the seal without a whistle; frameless glass on a coupe needs the tilt and height set by hand. Rear panels get bonded and the defroster tabs reconnected. Prices land between $200 and $450 for most side or rear tempered glass, cleanup included, and heated or tinted panels sit toward the top of that. Call 646-386-2253 with the year, make and model, and you get a real number, not a range that changes when we see the car. We are on Fort Hamilton Parkway near 55th Street, open every day of the week.
“I have not been able to keep my bathroom window open for the past 2 years without having to place something on the base. I didn’t know who to call. I was referred to AVIV and they were here this morning. I didn’t have to wait long for this…”

Out by the Canarsie Pier and along Seaview Avenue the wind comes straight off Jamaica Bay, which matters more than it sounds. A car with a missing door pane parked overnight down there takes rain sideways, and a plastic sheet taped over the hole flaps itself loose by morning. Same story on the exposed lots near the water. So we try to close these jobs in one visit rather than two, and we stock the common door and quarter panes for the vehicles we see most on Rockaway Parkway and Avenue L. When a pane has to be ordered, we cover the opening properly, taped to clean dry paint, and give you the date the glass lands rather than a shrug.
Same service, same price, other Brooklyn neighborhoods:
Not the whole time. Most Canarsie customers hand over the key, tell us where the car sits, and go back inside. We need access to the interior, so an unlocked door or a key is the requirement. Tempered work takes under an hour on common vehicles once the pane is on site, and we will knock when it is time to look at it together.
It should. Factory privacy glass on the rear doors and back panel is tinted in the glass itself, not filmed, and we order the panel that matches your vehicle's original spec. If somebody added aftermarket film later, the new pane arrives clear and you would need that film reapplied. We flag which one you have when you call, so there is no surprise at the driveway.
Tell us the vehicle and the glass that's damaged — you'll see your price instantly, and we'll hold it for you.
