Mobile work costs the same as in-shop work, with no trip charge anywhere in Sheepshead Bay. We need a reasonably flat parking spot, room to work at the pillar, and a dry day so the urethane cures properly. A windshield takes 60 to 90 minutes at your curb. Seven days, 8:30 to 5:30.

The van carries the same glass, the same primer and the same urethane we use indoors, which is why the price does not move and why Brooklyn jobs carry no trip fee. What changes is the setup. We want ground where the car sits level, clearance to open doors fully and stand at the pillar, and weather that lets the bead cure. Rain cancels. Hard wind off the bay can cancel too, because a windshield behaves like a sail the moment it leaves the rack, and a gust with the pane held over the opening is a risk not worth taking.
Most curbside work is straightforward enough: a windshield inside 60 to 90 minutes, a door glass and cleanup in less, a chip in roughly half an hour while you are indoors. Hand over the keys, tell us which car and which side of the street, then carry on with your day. Nobody needs to stand outside watching in the cold. You will hear the safe drive-away time from us before we pack up rather than having to guess at it. Where a job needs something the street cannot offer, we say so and move it to the shop.
“Professional, reliable, and a pleasure to work with. Great quality and excellent service. Highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐”

Where the car sleeps decides most of this. Houses off Voorhies Avenue and the blocks south of Avenue Z often come with driveways, and a driveway is the easiest visit on our schedule. Nearer the water it gets harder: those angled spaces along the waterfront put us half in traffic, the roadway is crowned toward the curb in stretches, and nothing slows the wind before it reaches you. Marina and lot parking around Knapp Street works well whenever there is room to swing a door wide. Boat trailers parked alongside are usually the only obstacle. On an alternate side block, tell us the sweeping day and hour while we are on the phone and the visit gets timed around it instead of landing while the whole street is circling.
Same service, same price, other Brooklyn neighborhoods:
Not if we can get into the vehicle. Plenty of customers leave keys with a neighbour or a super and head to work as normal. We photograph the car before and after, ring you once the glass is set, and go through drive-away timing by phone. Where the car sits in a lot with an attendant, just make sure whoever holds the keys knows to expect us.
We move you to the next dry slot and there is no charge for the change. Urethane will not cure right with water in the joint, and glass bedded in the wet is glass that whistles or leaks a season later. If waiting on weather does not suit you, drive over to Fort Hamilton Parkway and the job gets done under cover. Our doors open at 8:30 every day.
Tell us the vehicle and the glass that's damaged — you'll see your price instantly, and we'll hold it for you.
