Most Midwood windshields run $250 to $450 installed, with ADAS-equipped and luxury glass higher. The install takes 60 to 90 minutes, plus safe drive-away time while the urethane sets. We are open 8:30 to 5:30 seven days, about fifteen minutes from Avenue J, and we can come to you instead.

A windshield is laminated glass bonded into the body, so it is doing structural work: it holds the roof up in a rollover and gives the passenger airbag something to push against. That is why we do not reuse a seal. The old glass comes out, the pinch weld gets cleaned back and primed so rust never gets a foothold, new moldings and clips go on, and a single continuous bead of urethane goes down. Then the glass is set once, in the right place, and left alone. Cutting corners on any of that shows up later as a whistle at 40 mph on Ocean Parkway or a damp headliner after rain.
Glass is OEM-quality and meets or exceeds FMVSS; if you want the dealer part with the manufacturer logo, say so on the phone and we will quote both. Cars with a forward camera behind the mirror get recalibrated before they leave, because lane keeping and automatic braking read the road through that glass. Pricing is given over the phone as a number, not a range you discover later. Insurance is billed direct. The workmanship warranty lasts as long as you own the car, so a leak or a rattle three winters from now is still ours to fix.
“I called for a quote on two pieces of mirror. The lady I spoke to was very helpful. Took my measurements, offered to call me back with a price. She did promptly. Polite and professional throughout.”

Midwood windshields take a particular kind of hit. Kings Highway and Coney Island Avenue are permanent patch jobs, and the stone that comes off a repaving truck lands square in the middle of your view. Meanwhile the shaded streets between Avenue J and Avenue M drop limbs in a storm and acorns every October, which is a slower way to lose a windshield but just as certain. What matters for scheduling is where the car lives. If it sits in a driveway on East 26th Street, we can do the whole thing there and you never move it. If it lives on the street near the Q cut at East 16th, the shop is easier, because a windshield needs an hour of stillness and a curb spot in Midwood rarely offers that.
Same service, same price, other Brooklyn neighborhoods:
Figure 60 to 90 minutes for the install itself, then a safe drive-away window while the urethane cures. We tell you the exact number for the adhesive we used that day, and it depends on temperature. In January it is longer than in June. Plan on being with us a couple of hours if you want to leave and go straight back to Midwood.
If there is a camera module behind the rearview mirror, or your dash shows lane departure and forward collision warnings, then yes. We handle it as part of the job rather than sending you elsewhere. Tell us the year, make and model when you call and we will confirm before you come in, so the quote you get is the quote you pay.
Tell us the vehicle and the glass that's damaged — you'll see your price instantly, and we'll hold it for you.
