Door, quarter, vent, back and sunroof glass runs $200 to $500 for most vehicles, and tempered pieces are usually same-day once the part is in hand. We are 8 to 10 minutes from Bensonhurst, open every day 8:30 to 5:30, and we will vacuum out every last shard before you drive off.

Everything on a car that is not the windshield is tempered, which means it does not crack, it disintegrates. That changes the job. Half the work on a broken door glass is retrieval: pebbles of glass drop inside the door skin, sit on the regulator track, wedge under the seat rails and hide in the seat belt reel pocket. Skip that and you get a rattle for years and a window that binds. We pull the door card, clear the cavity, run the vacuum through the carpet and the seat channels, then fit the new pane and cycle the window a dozen times to be sure it tracks clean.
Quarter glass and vent glass are the fiddly pieces, and they are the ones we like. Odd shapes, fussy seals, sometimes a bonded pane rather than a dropped-in one, all of which is flat-glass work with a car wrapped around it. Back glass brings its own care: the defroster grid and the antenna traces are printed on, and the connector tabs have to be transferred or matched so you do not lose the rear demist in December. Prices land between $200 and $500 for most of it, quoted on the phone at 646-386-2253, with the lifetime workmanship warranty on the install.
“I have not been able to keep my bathroom window open for the past 2 years without having to place something on the base. I didn’t know who to call. I was referred to AVIV and they were here this morning. I didn’t have to wait long for this…”

Bensonhurst is a neighborhood of attached houses and street parking, and that combination shapes what we see. Cars sit out overnight along the numbered streets between 18th and 20th Avenues, and a car sitting out is a car that can be gone into. The classic call is a Monday morning: passenger door glass in a thousand pieces across the sidewalk, a briefcase or a toolbag missing, the owner sweeping the curb before work. We keep common door and quarter glass moving quickly and can usually have the car buttoned up the same day, which matters when the alternate-side sign says the block has to clear by eleven. If the car is too full of glass to drive, say so on the phone and we will come to it.
Same service, same price, other Brooklyn neighborhoods:
Short hops, yes, if the seat is clear and you can see. Sweep the loose glass off the seat, put a towel down, and take Fort Hamilton Parkway rather than the Belt so you are not doing highway speed with an open hole. If it is raining, or the pile is bad, call and we will tape it properly at your curb or bring the replacement to you.
Usually within a day. We source OEM-quality parts that meet or exceed FMVSS, and dealer OEM when you want the exact factory piece priced next to it. Odd model years, imported trims and older vans take a phone call or two, and we will tell you honestly what the wait looks like rather than guessing. Nothing gets ordered until you have heard the price.
